The syllabus for the BOI PO exam is as follows:

Online Examination:-

  1. English Language
  2. Reasoning and Computer Aptitude
  3. General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness
  4. Data Analysis & Interpretation
  5. English Descriptive paper (Letter Writing & Essay)

The questions in objective tests will be in English & Hindi (except for the test in General English).

Nationality: Candidates must be a Citizen of India.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 20 to 29 years (Age relaxations will be extended as per govt rules).

Bank of India Exam Pattern Details |  Bank of India PO Syllabus

Exam Pattern: The examination will consist of Three Phases, Viz.
Phase I: Online Examination: Online Examinations consisting of Objective Tests for 200 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 3-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Phase II: Personal Interview

  • Bank will conduct personal interviews of all the selected candidates. The total marks allotted for Interviews will be 60.
  • Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates.

Phase III: Group Discussion (GD)

  • Group Discussion will be conducted for the candidates selected through the online test at some selected centers. The total marks allotted for Group Discussion will be 40.
  • Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates.

Note:- Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.

  • There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual tests OR for the aggregate scores. Section-wise marks will not be maintained.
