What is the selection process?
Ans: The selection process has multiple stages:
1st Phase: Physical Standards Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
2nd Phase: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
3rd Phase: Document Verification, Dictation Test (for RO only), and Medical Examination.
What is the exam pattern for the CBT?
Ans: The online CBT is a 2-hour test with 100 questions for a total of 200 marks.
Physics: 40 questions (80 marks)
Mathematics: 20 questions (40 marks)
Chemistry: 20 questions (40 marks)
English & General Knowledge (GK): 20 questions (40 marks)
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
What is the PET pattern?
Ans:
Male: 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes, 11 feet long jump, and 3.5 feet high jump.
Female: 800-meter race in 4 minutes, 9 feet long jump, and 3 feet high jump.
